This is a big Shout Out to any musicians (professional or talented amateurs) who want to kick Solfest off early with an acoustic campfire jam session on Thursday 23rd August. Whilst we don't provide entertainment on Thursday you may want to bring an instrument and create your own.

We can’t think of a better way to start the party than with a gentle warm up in the camping fields, with a few friends and a few beers.

What a lovely poster for this years Solfest, its so well put together and conveys all that Solfest is brilliant music wonderful folk divine madness and lotsa merriment all packed into 3 days in friendly fields . I feel rejuvenated after the first hour on the Tarns. Keep it goin brothers and sisters.

This will be our sixth year at Solfest and have a brilliant time every year regardless of the line-up, but this year looks like it will be the best year yet with the early mainstage announcements.Can't wait to see the full line-up. GOOD JOB WELL DONE.

Looking forward to another great festival. This will be our 5th. Bought a Dandy Dart for this year after staying in one of Keefs last year. Its a great service he provides, if still doing it. For a reasonable price you get to stay in one he has all set up for you. Dandy darts are indestructable trailer tents for those who dont know. Looking forward to the fancy dress, by far the best day, loads of fun. I was a tye dye mad hatter last year.
