Please Note: We will stop posting out on-line orders at 23:59 on Monday 23rd August. After this time (subject to availability) any tickets purchased on-line, will be held on the gate for collection, if this is the case, we will email you with further instructions.

You can download the 2010 information leaflet here (1.42MB PDF).

We're so excited you're thinking of coming to Solfest and we want to make things as easy for you as we can!

To buy online, simply use the drop down menu to select the ticket type you'd like and click 'Add to cart', you can then click 'Continue shopping' to add as many tickets as you need. Once you're happy with your order, go ahead and hit the 'checkout' button. You don't need to have a PayPal account, just click 'Continue' under 'Don't have a PayPal account?' to enter your billing information. If you do have a paypal account, you can use that by logging in as normal. Finally, just follow the instructions on-screen to complete your purchase.

If you'd prefer to get your tickets the traditional way, you can order them over the phone, by post or in person with cash, cheques (made payable to Carnegie Theatre), credit or debit cards, (except American Express or Diners Cards). Call the Carnegie Theatre Box Office on 01900 602122 to buy or enquire. (Please don't use this number for customer support regarding PayPal orders, in this case you can request a call-back on 08443 578 538* or email [email protected].)

Children aged 5 and under go free, but they must have their own ticket, unfortunately PayPal does not allow a zero price, so we have to charge you a penny. If you don't want to pay this you can order your tickets by calling the Carnegie Theatre Box Office on 01900 602122.

We want to encourage people to come on Thursday (before 8pm for safety reasons) and stay on-site so that they can avoid the rush on Friday. This costs just £10 per vehicle and will allow you access to the camping fields only. There will be no access to the main arena until 9.00am on Friday.

You can transfer your ticket to another person and you do not have to tell us, but they do need to be the right age.

Tickets are posted out in bulk, so the delivery time will vary, however if you do not receive your order within 14 days, then please send an email to [email protected]. If you have not received your tickets, please email us.

We will stop posting out tickets on 23rd August. Tickets ordered after this date will be available to collect on the gate. You will need to bring with you a print out of your PayPal receipt and some photo identification such as a passport or driving license.

*Calls to this number are charged at 4.2p per munite (+VAT) from a residential BT landline.

Complaints policy (online sales)

Solfest is all about creating an enjoyable atmosphere for our customers, but occasionally things can go wrong and if they do we want to reassure you that we will do everything possible to help you.

You can make a complaint by sending an email to [email protected], explaining what has gone wrong and what you would like us to do to put it right. You can also request a call-back by phoning 08443 578 538*. We will then contact your either by email or phone within 72 hours, to discuss your concerns.
All complaints are immediately brought to the attention of Solfest’s management committee, so you can be sure that your issue is being taken very seriously by the most senior people in the organisation.

If you are requesting a refund, then we will generally apply our stated terms and conditions of sale. However we understand that sometimes there are exceptional circumstances, beyond your control, so please provide us as much information as you can and we will consider your request, based upon your individual situation.

If you have paid via PayPal you can also raise a case through them and we will treat these with the same urgency and care that we would any other. However we will use PayPal's resolution centre to communicate with you, so that PayPal can maintain its own records about the case.

If after we have responded, you are still not happy, then you will need to put your concerns in writing and send them to:

The Chairman
Solfest Ltd
PO Box 87
Maryport
Cumbria
CA15 8NF

Your case will then be reviewed by the entire management committee in the next available full meeting (held monthly). We may contact you to request further information which will help us come to a decision. You will then be sent a letter explaining our final resolution.

Your statutory rights will not be effected and we comply with all the relevant laws for England & Wales.
