Not sure about the line up so far for me.

I'm sure they are all very talented, but

what's happened to major bands such as K T Tunstall, Proclaimers, Adam Ant to name but a few!

The entrance price will have to reflect the quality

    of the entertainment provided.

    Are you guys serious?

With a limited festival budget to spend and a choice between Peetbog Faerees vs Levellers, Khaisers, James and some obscure band called Elbow appearing at a venue up the road at almost the same price.....

    Afraid it's a no-brainier for me!

It was good to have a years break but unfortunately Kendal Calling have a great Line up this year with Elbow, Kaiser Chiefs, Kodaline The Levellers,

Ella Eyre etc. there is only a certain amount of money some people can afford for these events. I know it is still early but you need to have at least a couple of really big names to draw people back. Get the big Stage back and leave the noisy camp site where it is! then we may think about it!!!!

I like the bands on this year even if there not as famous. I've been listening to the one's ive never heard of on youtube abs there all pretty good. Yeah i don't think the prices should be that high. But good line up! Especially Lancashire hot pots and unthanks !

Loved 2013 .. but what's happened? Honestly stunned - you had a good thing going there for a while!

Hope you can get back on track after your break but for now, somewhere nearby is 'Calling' .. Sorry gonna have to book elsewhere this year.

Good luck - you may need it!

I was thinking of taking my 6 and 3 year old along, but the price and frankly very poor line up (for my tastes, I am sure they are all great artists in their own rights and will be loved by others) has convinced me otherwise. I was excited to see if you pulled another Supergrass out of the bag, but I am severely disappointed. Good stuff for the folkies and lovers of not too mainstream stuff though I suppose.

Either this is a ploy to fully get back to the solfest roots or someone has forgot to reduce the price tag likewise....We will still probably visit but currently slightly galled of the price. Bearded theory and wickerman look the main event!! .....all said we could spend a week in the solfest campsite!

I agree with Ruby. Im excited for Lancashire hot pots and peatbog faries as i have seen them before. Just try new music people!

Im also excited to see how it goes with everything. I really hope its good.

I only have a problem with the prices and also the fires. I know it ruins the field but can we at least put it i somthing so the grass is ok?

I've still got Solfest in the pending tray. Thus far I am not exactly inspired by the 1st batch of performers. They're okay and will be good on the day but for the ticket price - there has to be something more significant coming along. I trust you Solfest but I am getting rather worried. You have to justify the ticket price otherwise the punters will go elsewhere.
